I made this card last week, in between all the other cards. Some time ago a baby boy (by the name of Ties) was born. When I heard the name, it made me smile. Why? Well both (my toddlers) Quinn and Levi have bear blankies (all of them are Beertje), and Quinn named his "Beertje" Ties for a short time.

I had fun making this card. It's a different baby card than what I'm used to creating and seeing. I'm not here to shame anyone for using blue for baby boys or pink for baby girls. But I love doing things differently. So I went with a black/brown/red/gold theme!

I've used Lawn Fawn's Little Bundle stamps and dies, and Lawn Fawn's Cole's ABCs dies. The images were coloured in using Copic markers. The golden details were created using Tsukineko Brilliance Galaxy Gold. The background was cut using Lawn Fawn's Outside In Stitched Scalloped Square Stackables. And the tiny hearts in the background and on the clothes were created using a Pentel Hybrid Gel Grip DX Medium 1.0 Gold pen. ❤️
