It's my hubby's birthday today! February is a birthday month in this house. Within the span of 8 days we have 4 birthdays 😬😂 That's a lot of fun, but also a LOT of crafting, cake and craziness. I'll share some more cards and crafts in the next few days. I've got a lot to catch up on here.
As for the card I made for hubby: it's the first time I'm using Lawn Fawn: Year Nine (aka the taco stamp haha). I used plain white 300gsm (140lbs) cardstock for the base of the card, and for everything else I've used 160gsm (74lbs) cardstock. The patterned taco background was coloured with Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, then stamped with the tiny taco stamp from Lawn Fawn: Plan On It (Meal Planning). The circles were cut using Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Circle Stackables. I coloured all of them using Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin and Candied Apple. All the images were coloured in using Copic markers. The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn Year Nine, Lawn Fawn: Plan On It (Meal Planning) and the little heart is from Stinkin' Cute.
On the inside I wrote something about hubby's dinosaur-th age, so I had to include a (teal/seafoam) dinosaur from Critters from the Past with a taco. The Dino is meeeeee, and I'm bringing hubby a taco. And the taco is not amused that it's about to be eaten hahaha.
Happy birthday hubby ❤️🎉😄❤️
